Lutheran World Relief Projects at Trinity Lutheran World Relief is a national organization that works with international relief groups and local partners in impoverished countries to help those most in need. We support them in giving comfort and hope to people displaced by conflict or natural disasters and to those living in extreme illness or poverty.  Get more information at http://lwr.org/getinvolved/kits Our church is actively involved in donating quilts, school kits and soap, coordinated by the Trinity Lutheran Women. Our congregation has been dependably generous in providing needed items. Here are the supplies that we continue to collect: Each quilt is constructed of donated fabric and filled with batting or blankets.  We appreciate fabric, sheets, blankets and batting. We have fun tying these quilts each Tuesday. We gather in the upstairs sewing room and come and go between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. It’s easy, and we would love to have you Continue reading →

Are you an early riser with a hearty appetite and an empty spot on your calendar on Tuesday mornings?  The Morning Men’s Group is a small group of men who meet on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:00am at the IHOP – International House of Pancakes in Victoria.  The order of the day is coffee and breakfast and lively discussion of congregational issues and current events.  There is always plenty of room and we’d love to have you join us.  For more information contact Ronnie Stanford, Larry Clark, or Greg Garnett.
