School Supplies Needed for Lutheran World Relief!  We are now collecting school supplies to send around the world to children who live with extreme illness or poverty. Our gifts allow others to learn and grow, as we demonstrate our Christian loving-kindness for our neighbors in need.

Each School Kit contains:

1. Four 70-sheet, 8” x 10.5” spiral notebooks, with wide- or college-ruled paper
2. One 12” ruler,
3. One pencil sharpener,
4. One pair blunt scissors,
5. Five unsharpened #2 pencils with erasers; secure together with a rubber band,
6. Five black or blue ballpoint pens (no gel ink); secure together with a rubber band,
7. One box of 16 or 24 crayons.
8. One 2.5” eraser.

Our vacation Bible school students will be collecting school supplies for their service project. We also encourage everyone to help us buy these supplies during the summer months, while sale prices are available. Please leave your gifts in the office, sewing room or on the table in the Narthex. Those wishing to give a monetary donation to sponsor a bag can leave donations with the offering or in the church office. Please make checks payable to WELCA.
